Bible Verses of the Week
SUNDAY - 1 Timothy 3:1-5 ESV The saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task. Therefore an overseer must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not a drunkard, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. He must manage his own household well, with all dignity keeping his children submissive, for if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God's church?
MONDAY - Colossians 3:23-25 ESV Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality.
TUESDAY - Proverbs 16:12 ESV It is an abomination to kings to do evil, for the throne is established by righteousness.
WEDNESDAY - 2 Timothy 2:24 ESV And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil,
SATURDAY - Psalm 101:5 ESV Whoever slanders his neighbor secretly I will destroy. Whoever has a haughty look and an arrogant heart I will not endure.

Bible Verses for the Week
The Ten Commandments
(Exodus 20:2-17 NKJV)
|
|
1
|
“I am the Lord your God, who brought
you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no
other gods before Me.
|
2
|
“You shall not make for yourself a
carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is
in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not
bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God,
visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth
generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those
who love Me and keep My Commandments.
|
3
|
“You shall not take the name of the
Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His
name in vain.
|
4
|
“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it
holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is
the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your
son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor
your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the
Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and
rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and
hallowed it.
|
5
|
“Honor your father and your mother,
that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving
you.
|
6
|
“You shall not murder.
|
7
|
“You shall not commit adultery.
|
8
|
“You shall not steal.
|
9
|
“You shall not bear false witness
against your neighbor.
|
10
|
“You shall not covet your neighbor's
house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor
his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your
neighbor's.”
........ TO THOSE WHO LOVE JESUS CHRIST........
We have entered into a dark time in our government's history. Our
future is on a path of destruction and chaos created by man. God
is the only answer; however, beware of false doctrine brought into
our churches by false prophets. For answers, turn to prayer and seek
knowledge in God's word. Money and power are the root of all evil.

Bible Verses for the Week
SUNDAY - Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
MONDAY - Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
TUESDAY - Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
WEDNESDAY - Galatians 1:8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.
THURSDAY - 1 Timothy 6:9-12 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs. But as for you, O man of God, flee these things. Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
FRIDAY - 1 Timothy 6:17-19 As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.
SATURDAY - John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Bible Verses for the Week
SUNDAY - (Matthew 24:4, 5 NKJV) Jesus warned that in the last days counterfeit Christs would arise who would masquerade as the Messiah and claim to be the savior of the world. “Jesus answered and said to them: ‘Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, “I am the Christ,” and will deceive many’ ”
MONDAY - (Matthew 7:22, 23, NIV) Tragically, those who are deceived in the last days by these false Christs will sincerely regard themselves to be genuine believers, actively doing the work of Christ. They will even prophesy in the name of Jesus, cast out demons in the name of Jesus, and work miracles in His name. But they are serving a false Christ—not the real Jesus. “Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers’ ”
TUESDAY - (John 14:21, NIV) The followers of the false Christ disregard the commandments of Jesus. In contrast, Jesus declares, “Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him”
WEDNESDAY - (1 John 2:17) “How does God’s love abide in anyone who has the world’s goods and sees a brother or sister in need and yet refuses help?”
THURSDAY - (Matthew 25:31-46) Jesus said, “Just as you did – or did not do – to the least of these, you did – or failed to do – for me”
FRIDAY - (Leviticus 25:35-36 NIV)“If one of your countrymen becomes poor and is unable to support himself among you, help him as you would an alien or a temporary resident, so he can continue to live among you. Do not take interest of any kind from him, but fear your God, so that your countrymen may continue to live among you…
SATURDAY - (1 Timothy 6:17-19 NIV)”Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.
