SUNDAY: Proverbs 28:16 A ruler who lacks understanding is a cruel oppressor, but he who hates unjust gain will prolong his days.
MONDAY: 1 Peter 5:2 Shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly.
TUESDAY: Proverbs 31:8-9 Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy.
WEDNESDAY: Proverbs 16:12 It is an abomination to kings to do evil, for the throne is established by righteousness.
