A hot-tempered man stirs up dissension, but a patient man calms a quarrel.

TUESDAY - Proverbs 16:32
Better a patient man than a warrior, a man who controls his temper than one who takes a city.

WEDNESDAY - Proverbs 19:11
A man's wisdom gives him patience; it is to his glory to overlook an offense.

THURSDAY - Proverbs 20:3
It is to a man's honor to avoid strife, but every fool is quick to quarrel

SUNDAY - James 3:5-6
The tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole person, sets the whole course of his life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.

MONDAY - Leviticus 19:16
'Do not go about spreading slander among your people.

TUESDAY - Psalm 19:14
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.

WEDNESDAY - Psalm 34:13

Tuesday - Proverbs 6:16-19 There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.

Wednesday
