God was crucified on the cross by those who were filled with greed, lust for power, and hatred but He arose and ascended into Heaven. He lives today!
God sets up rulers and takes them down. (“He removeth kings, and setteth up kings” (Dan. 2:21).
Since the beginning, there have been many disagreements and interpretations of the Bible; however, today it's hard to find God and His teachings in many of our churches. The New Testament is largely disregarded by many churches and it's such a strong message about how we are to treat others. Greed, lust for power, corruption, hatred, and discrimination has blinded many to the truth of God's word.
God’s son, Jesus, was sent to spread and teach God’s message to the world. His Deciples delivered the “Sermon on the Mount”. The Beatitudes are the teachings of Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount,(Matthew 5:1-10). Jesus teaches us that if we live according to the Beatitudes, we will live a happy Christian life. The Beatitudes fulfill God’s promises made to Abraham and his descendants and describe the rewards that will be ours as loyal followers of Christ.
God's word has not changed ....
The Beatitudes
Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the land.
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the clean in heart,
for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
