Bible Verses for the Week

SUNDAY: 1 Timothy 4:1-2 1 The Spirit clearly
says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow
deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2 Such teachings come through
hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.

MONDAY: 1 John 4:1 1Dear friends, do not
believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see
whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone
out into the world.

TUESDAY: Matthew 24:23-26 Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand. So, if they say to you, ‘Look, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out. If they say, ‘Look, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.

WEDNESDAY: Mark 7:6-8 And he said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, “‘This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me; in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ You leave the commandment of God and hold to the tradition of men.”

THURSDAY: Proverbs 30:5-6 “Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar.

FRIDAY: Ephesians 5:11 Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.

SATURDAY: Psalm 94:16 Who rises up for me against the wicked? Who stands up for me against evildoers?

Bible Verses for the Week

SUNDAY: 2 Timothy 4:3-4 3For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

MONDAY: Galatians 1: 6-7 6I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel- 7which is really no gospel at all.

TUESDAY: 1 John 4:1 1Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

WEDNESDAY: Galatians 1:7  Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ.

THURSDAY: Galatians 1:8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God's curse!

FRIDAY: Galatians 1:9 As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God's curse!

SATURDAY: Galatians 1:10 Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ
